TESOL success!

We were sad to see the last day of our last TESOL course.

All of the students on our 4 week Intensive graduated!! It was a great course and we had some neat students attending the course as well as some who came for the Free lessons.

Now one is heading off to China, two want to teach locally, more one-to-one and others will be heading off overseas to work later.
It was hard going for the student's. They worked very hard and deserve their success.

The next Intensive one is in July/August, date to be confirmed. We have a part-time one starting 20th April.

One student's experience at the trip to the Katikati Bird Garden

Yesterday I visited the bird Garden in Katikati with Yam,Patty and the teacher Juan. At the bird garden we're looking and feeding to the birds like chickens, ducks and pigeons. My favorite bird was a grey duck with Green beak, also we can see the peacock, parrots and a strange bird similar to a phoenix. The most funny parts in the trip was when we feed the birds because a lot of birds arrived with us. Isaias Barraza  (Chile)

I think they work so much for make the honey. After that we can taste some honeys yummy flavour. My favourite flavours was the honey with lemon. By Isaiah I visited the Comvita at 21st Feb. 202 with my Bay Learning Academy friends. Comvita is famous for Japan. The honey of Comvita is sold by department store. It is so expensive. By the way, we joined the guided tours. And I tried the computer control guide. It had been getting on helicopter for me. My sight was like moving aerial photo.  It was realistic great scenery.  I had the latest advanced technology experience for me. Finally I bought 2 honies for my friends. By Akiko Comvita was established in 1974, in Te Puke. We were seven people including tteacher Juan. We saw there made of many things from the honey, just as: toothpaste, soap, and many kin...
We had a lovely visit from Byung Sook Gong this week. She had been a student here earlier in the year. She was a dedicated student and her English improved a lot. Just shows you are never too old to learn something new.  It was lovely catching up with her and her family, we miss her.
